Softball and metcon

Wednesday rest day

Thursday - first game of the softball season and we won!

After the softball, I sent Miles a text for a bodyweight metcon and he sent me this

my push ups suck!

Did this on a running track that was next to the softball pitch

Workout day 2

sort of 2min defense team workout

10 rounds for time

100m row
1 power clean
3 hang squat clean
2 overhead

cant move to rower till other person is finished

Done this with Jools, I used 60kg and she used 25kg

Total time 11mins 36secs

Missing out the heavy stuff this week and just going for metcons

Start of a new week

So not trained since last Wednesday, just wasnt feeling good at all. Not sick, not ill just run down. Body feels sore in lots of places, lower back, wrist and neck all hurting.

Going to start back tonight and see how it goes but will be taking it easy.

feeling a bit off

Didnt train on Tuesday as I wanted to watch some Zombie movies. Went to play catch up on Wednesday but it wasnt happening. Deadlifts were on the menu but my back wasnt happy even with 100kg. Tried 120kg and got 2 reps then stopped

Then at work I just felt exhausted all night, dont know if Im coming down with something or Im just tired

Just home from a great day at Kempies. A great day with some great people - a satellite Brand X get-together with me, Kempie, Red, Miles and Texas Patrick as guest of honour

We did a fantastic team workout with 100 box jumps, 200 Thrusters, 300 SDHP, 400 sledge hammer strikes and 500 KB swings

Also got some great coaching from Kempie, Leon and Miles on my snatch

On Easter Sunday, wee took a trip up to Aberfoyle to roll some eggs with the kids and
because it was also Jools birthday and that is where she wanted to go.

We had a great day which was finished off nicely with a BBQ, loads of good food and some booze

Deadlifts felt really strong tonight, up 15kg on last week
