cancellation. So got my Christmas present early, thought I was goinhg to have to wait till February

Monday night workout

Had to modify tonights workout due to logistics and weather again, but did manage to do the pull ups ( big winter gloves! )

3 rounds for time

400m row
10 thrusters 50kg
15 pull ups
20 burpees
400m row
20 kb swings 24kg
15 double unders
10 sdhp 32kg kettlebell

time 36mins 20secs

changed to russian swings at round 2 because going overhead was pulling on my back a bit

last couple of days

Boxing day and today I didnt train, just had a few rums, lots of chocolate and today lots of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Lots.

Got my Plan for next week - train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Take Friday off then get back on track with training next Saturday. As for eating I'm getting back to serious eating as of Monday 4th, with my man Chet helping me organise it

Merry Christmas

Kids were awake at 6.30 but we managed to get hem in bed beside us till 6.50

Presents were a great success - xbox360 for big kid, bike for wee kid

Trained as well - back squats 100kg x 3 reps x 6 sets. More training later as I am not drinking due to work tomorro

After getting ready - 2 pair socks, long johns, joggy trousers, 2 t-shirts, thermal vest, jumper, hat and gloves - i went out to the hobo gym for todays workout

Push jerks 7 x 1 reps

Did all 7 reps with 70kg

then 3 x 800m row

2.49/3.05/3.09

man, its cold today!

Warmed up with some double unders but couldnt get my rythm

Power snatches 35kg x 5 reps x 5 sets
( supposed to be 4 x 1 reps but was too cold to do singles lol )

Then did

21-15-9 reps of

40kg power cleans
burpees

timne 7mins 20secs

Left a nice sweat angel!

Justice has been done

Rage Against the Machine are Christmas No1 - I never bothered with the charts since I was a teenager but when there is a chance for Rage to be No1 then I had to download it

Yes I know its the same record label as the other song and that Simon Fucking Cowell is part of but this means that for every year to come, when you are sitting down watching the "Christmas No1's" programmes in years to come - Rage will be there for all to rock out too!

Squats and body weight stuff

So first workout of the week

Warm up on rower and then some overhead squats with pvc

12 x 2 reps back squats with 60kg with 30secs rest between

then

3 rounds of  Max reps of

push ups
sit ups
squats

resting at all means the end of the set

push ups 22/15/16 reps
sit ups 56/40/45
squats 109/113/74

last set of squats just killed me

training has been blah


Trained on Tuesday but just couldnt get my head back into it. Think the combination of shit diet/ no training / bad weather have turned me itno a lazy bastard.


We had about 2 or 3 inches of snow last night which then froze over so the roads were a bit slippy


And nearly forgot - Im going to be a Dad again. Baby number 3 due in June!

So my back tweek scared me so much I havent trained since....

Think my mojo has gone on holiday so needed to get back out and get back on the wagon.

Pressing

then

5 rh kb snatches/. 5 rh swings
5 lh kb snatches/ 5 lh swings
10 push press 40kg

3 rounds but for got to start the stopwatch

starting back

Starting back training tomorrow - back feels ok so going to start very light...again

This is my workout but going to scale it right back and maybe skip the deadlifts

Deadlifts 4×2 95% of 1RM
Rest 5 minutes
For time:
275 x 25 back squat
135 x 15 power snatch

Great weekend


Had my mate Miles up from Brighton for a flying visit so we made the most of it my going to Franky and Bennys, then had some booze and watched movies!
